Adelaide Festival is a dwarf that originated in Australia.
It is a mid-season regular leaf variety, yielding rich purple tomatoes with green vertical stripes that ripen to olive-gold. A rich taste, a perfect balance between sweetness and acidity. Mid-season.
Indeterminate growth is a compact plant, 100cm, mid-season. Adelaide Festival originated from a cross between Pink Berkeley Tie Dye and Rosella Purple made by Patrina Nuske Small in 2009, named Tidy F1. Adelaide Festival was selected and named by Patrina after the fireworks celebrating the Adelaide Festival of Arts in her home city.
We recommend growing 2-3 branches if necessary cut. Putting some extra support for the plant is recommended so it won't break. Suitable for the greenhouse and also for growing in a larger pot. Bears fruit until the arrival of the cold season.
Our rating: Adelaide Festival is suitable for the greenhouse and terrace, with sweet tomatoes to put on a sandwich or salad. 10/6 (tasty).
